A Tibetan-American filmmaker explores the story of three generations in exile and their stories of resilience in the face of oppression. Ultimately “Ritual of Resistance” reveals three generations of inherited trauma through first-hand oral accounts by three exiles living in disparate parts of the world. In the process the filmmaker confronts his own displacement and his position to his own role as part of an emerging and evolving diaspora community in search for their own identity.

Winner of ‘Emerging Documentary Film’ award at the AAIFF42 Asian American International Film Festival in New York 2019.
