THE EARTH IS BLUE AS AN ORANGE
Single mother Anna and her four children live in the frontline war zone of Donbas, Ukraine. Confronted by a world of bombings and chaos, the household maintain their home as a safe haven of life and light and, in their shared passion for cinema, decide to shoot a film. But just how might the family represent their experiences of war via fiction? And what kind of power could a magical screen world wield during a time of disaster? Ultimately, for Anna and her clan, transforming trauma into art provides a powerful means to retain their humanity.
