THE LAST RUN

Documentary 37m 2019

Kalpida—a member of the indigenous Mura community in Purulia, West Bengal—is one the town’s last surviving postal runners. With his once mythologised profession in decline, he sets out on a final run, carrying mail bags, as images from the past, present and future pass him by.
